Powers and Abilities: Spellcraft
Fate: Petrified

An old Witch who tried to steal Ariel's youth and power in Island of the Body Snatchers. Circe had been cursed 500 years prior. She would turn to stone if she ever left her island. However, Circe had learned that the curse would only affect her body, if she transferred her mind to another with magic powers she could leave and not be petrified. Also, there was a secondary goal. Circe was seemingly planning to take on the identity of Ariel. Why? Her curse was a form of imprisonment. Circe was seemingly expecting those who imprisoned her to be watching to see if she escaped. Thus to make the plan work, she needed to have no witnesses to her escape.

Her plan failed when Ariel figured out how to undo the body swap before it was too late. After a showdown with Thundarr and Ookla, where Circe even animated oil drills in a coastal oil plant, the barbarian used his fabulous Sunsword which caused a "mystical feedback" in the witch spells, switching Ariel and Circe in her respective bodies. Circe turned to stone because her body was now outside the island when the swap was undone.
