This structure appears to be quite old and was built in the same style as the Pyramids of the Maya and Aztec. However, its origin is never explained. The pyramid is used by the Carocs to protect their home valley, and conceals numerous passageways. The bottom level of the pyramid is partially flooded to act as a canal for boat travel. The Carocs also have concealed doors and traps to deal with uninvited guests. (Harvest of Doom)
